We booked for a one night stay and were welcomed by Lyndon who arranged our parking and showed us around his lovely modern well appointed accommodation offered exclusively for guests. His B & B is only a few yards off the A40 which runs through Sennybridge and lies on the corner of Castle Road facing an open field. It comprises an entrance lobby, a conservatory diner with great views, a spacious lounge with huge TV and delightful fish tank, a sizeable well equipped kitchen and a couple of bedrooms along a corridor. We had a very comfortable lockable bedroom with a massive four Poster double bed, pristine ensuite with modern shower/bath, plenty of storage and excellent amenities including TV and kettle. We had a great night's sleep and in the morning enjoyed a fine (vegan) cooked breakfast provided by our wonderful host. Highly recommend.

This is like the Ritz of the b&b world without having to pay the the cost. You will want for nothing at Castle Lodge. Owners so friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for them. They have thought of everything that you are ever likely to need away from home. Even down to 4 different types of sweeteners for your morning cuppa. This was our second time there, and will keep going back there for our trips to the Brecons. 11 out of 10. Perfect stay. Thanks very much. Can't recommend it highly enough.

A very enjoyable stay. The owner was very helpful. Very quiet. The room was very good. The only reason it didn't get a 5 was there was no view from the window. Lovely view from breakfast room Very clean Great breakfast. Would recommend

Stopped over here recently for an evening whilst on a biker trip of Wales. The room was very well equipped and everything had been thought of. Parking was provided right outside which was great. Unfortunately breakfast was not available to us for our stay so best check availability before booking. There are no windows that open in the room which made it a little claustrophobic for me anyway. Not very much to see in the immediate area and the local pubs are not up to much either.

Perfect B&B for what I needed. Weather was challenging shall we say (November) and Lyndon was so helpful in planning my walks. Food great, accommodation great and Lyndon was really flexible in timings of breakfast etc. I had full use of a huge kitchen and lounge in the evenings. Defo will be staying again.

Breakfast was definitely a highlight and our room was very clean. I would highly recommend a stay here and would definitely go back if ever in the area. Thanks for the pleasant stay
